His Majesty receives ambassadors’ credentials
 



His Majesty Sultan Qaboos received at Hisn Ash’shumook in the Wilayat of Manah yesterday the credentials of a number of ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries to the Sultanate, in separate audiences. His Majesty received the credentials of Renata Angelika Storz-charkarji, Ambassador of Germany; Medhat Kamal Abdul-Raouf al Qadhi, Ambassador of Egypt; Loay Mahmoud Taha Isa, Ambassador of Palestine; Richard J Schmierer, Ambassador of the United States; Mehmet Khairi Ayrol, Ambassador of Turkey; and Mohammed Yousefi, Ambassador of Algeria.

During the side meetings with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed the greetings of the leaders of their respective countries to His Majesty the Sultan, along with their best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life. They said they were greatly honoured to present their credentials to His Majesty. They stressed that they will do their best to enhance their countries’ relations with the Sultanate in various spheres. His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors and thanked the leaders of their countries for their greetings and best wishes.

He wished the ambassadors a happy stay in the Sultanate and reassured them that they will receive all support from him and the Omani government and people. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, the Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, the Head of the Royal Protocols, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman and the Military Aides of His Majesty the Sultan.
