HM receives more National Day greetings
 



His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has received more cables of greetings on the occasion of the 39th National Day from leaders of brotherly and friendly countries. They wished His Majesty good health, happiness and a long life and the Omani people further progress and prosperity under His Majesty’s wise leadership.

His Majesty received the greetings cables from Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani, Emir of Qatar, Shaikh Sabah al Ahmed al Jabir al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, President Omar al Bashir of Sudan, President Mahmud Abbas of Palestine, President Islam Karimov of Uzbekistan, President Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal, President Georgio Napolitano of Italy, president Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, President Sellapan Ramanathan of Singapore, President Hanz-Rodolf Merz of the Swiss Federation, President Nguyen Minh Triet of Vietnam, Dr Ram Baran Yadav of Nepal and President Carolos Papoulias of Greece.

His Majesty the Sultan also received greetings cables on the 39th National Day from Shaikh Saud bin Rashid al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Umm al-Quwain, Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid al Mualla, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Heir Apparent of Qatar, Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Heir Apparent of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Shaikh Rashid bin Saud al Mualla, Heir Apparent of Umm al-Quwain, Shaikh Ammar bin Humaid bin Rashid al Nuaimi, Heir Apparent of Ajman, Shaikh Nasser bin Rashid al Nuaimi, Deputy Ruler of Ajman, Shaikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabr al Thani, Qatar Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Nepal’s Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and Greece Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou
