His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has received a written message from President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak of Egypt dealing with bilateral relations and consultations between the two brotherly countries on issues of common concern. The message was delivered to His Majesty the Sultan by Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-ghait when His Majesty gave him an audience at Bait al Baraka yesterday.
During the audience, the guest conveyed the Egyptian President's greetings and wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan, along with the president’s wishes of further progress and prosperity for the Omani people. His Majesty the Sultan asked the minister to convey his sincere greetings and best wishes to President Mubarak, along with his wishes of continued progress for the brotherly people of Egypt. The audience was attended by Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Medhat Kamal Abdulraoufal Qadhi, Egyptian Ambassador to the Sultanate, and the delegation accompanying the minister.
