Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs and Ahmed bin AbdulNabi Macki, National Economy Minister and Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council left here today for Kuwait leading the Sultanate's delegation to the 13TH Joint Meeting of the Ministerial Council and the Preparatory Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of the 30th Session of the AGCC Supreme Council due to be held in Kuwait. The meeting will discuss a host of topics on the agenda including agreement on the remaining prerequisites of the customs union with regard to collection and distribution of customs earnings among member states, the local agency and customs protection in line with the 29th session of the Supreme Council's decision in Muscat affecting the Customs Union as of January 2010. The meeting will also discuss a proposal by the State of Qatar as to establish the AGCC Development Bank, besides other topics which require a decision of the Ministerial Council and the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee.
