His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has conferred Al Nuoman Order (First Class) on Murtadha Rahimi Zarji, Ambassador of Iran to the Sultanate, in recognition of his efforts in serving bilateral relations. The conferment of the order was made when His Majesty the Sultan gave an audience at Al Alam Palace here yesterday to the ambassador who came to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty in the Sultanate. The ambassador expressed gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for the support and assistance extended to him during his stay in the Sultanate, saying that such cooperation facilitated him his mission here.

He wished His Majesty good health and happiness and the Omani people further progress and prosperity. His Majesty thanked the ambassador for his efforts in developing relations between the two friendly countries and wished him success in his future missions.
