His Majesty Sultan Qaboos will today begin a three-day private visit to His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). His Majesty and Shaikh Khalifa will review bilateral relations and aspects of co-operation between the Sultanate and the UAE. They will also exchange views on issues of common concern.

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos will be accompanied during the visit by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Ali bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, General Ali bin Majid al Maamari, Minister of the Royal Office, Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed bin Abdulnabi Macki, Minister of National Economy and Supervisor of the Ministry of Finance, Mohammed bin Al Zubair, Adviser to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs, Maqbool bin Ali Sultan, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah al Qatabi, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to the UAE.
