His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has received a cable of thanks from Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Ajman, in reply to His Majesty’s condolences cable on the death of Shaikh Said bin Hamdan bin Rashid al Nuaimi. Shaikh Humaid al Nuaimi expressed his appreciation for His Majesty’s condolences and sympathy. He prayed to the Almighty to protect His Majesty against any harm.

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos also received a cable of thanks from President Omar Hassan Ahmed al Bashir of Sudan in reply to His Majesty’s congratulatory cable on the occasion of Sudan’s 54th independence anniversary. President Al Bashir prayed to the Almighty to grant His Majesty good health and the Omani people further progress and prosperity. His Majesty the Sultan also received a cable of thanks from President Traian Basescu of Romania in reply to His Majesty’s greetings on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

President Basescu expressed his appreciation for His Majesty’s greetings and sincere wishes. He wished His Majesty good health and happiness and the Omani people further progress
