King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia received at Al Janadriah farm here yesterday Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs. The meeting was attended by Prince Saud al Faisal, Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Govenor of Riyadh, and the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dr Ahmed bin Hilal al Busaidy, among other officials.

During a joint meeting, Alawi conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to King Abdullah, who reciprocated the gesture asking Alawi to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that King Abdullah and Alawi reviewed bilateral relations and discussed issues of common concern. Alawi arrived in Saudi Arabia earlier in the day. He was received upon his arrival at King Khalid Airport by Prince Saud al Faisal and the Omani ambassador.
